Entec do not manufacture, however, to ensure the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including the European Union’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directives, Our suppliers of electrical components are asked to provide their RoHS policy, with regard to the 6 restricted hazardous compounds covered in the directive as part of the service level agreement.

Partnering with our suppliers, Entec encourages component manufacturers to eliminate hazardous substances from their products and to use part numbers and spec sheets to identify RoHS compliant products.
 
Entec recommend suppliers use environmentally compliant substitute components whenever possible.
 
Entec will provide compliance documentation via manufacturers’ specification sheet, either directly or through the distributor channels we use, upon request or where demanded by the import regulatory bodies of the market we serve.
 
Entec will make amendments to its RoHS policy when necessary to adapt to changing customer needs, the availability of new information or information sources, or based on economic factors.
