MRO spend would include:-Minor Capital Expenditure; a description for materials and services of a higher value than general MRO which have no strategic impact on the client's operations.
Capex examples include:-Point Of Sale; Items required and specified by the demand side of our client's business, delivered to teams at the operational sites to promote and create brand awareness.
POS spend examples:-The primary goal of integrated supply chain management is the outsourcing of non-core business functions. Generally these relate to indirect spend across the client's global operations.
Key outsourced functions would include the sourcing, procurement; logistics and data management of stock and non-stock NPR spend, integrating the data accumulated with the client's own asset care and ERP systems.
The genuine manufacturer of a component or part fitted to a bought in machine or system.
An 'unallied' integrated partner (UIP) is a neutral supplier operating in partnership with the client, without the need to champion any particular brand or product range.
UIPs do not have the high overhead or stock, associated with standard distributors or stockists and, therefore, do not need to apply the high mark ups to the products and services delivered to the client, preferring to source goods and services from the client's approved OEM and Proprietary suppliers, applying a flexible charge dependant upon the level of value add the UIP provides.
All items and services procured on behalf of the client are data cleansed, to identify savings opportunities through 'badged sourcing' inventory redistribution and leveraged spend, such savings are passed back in full to the client.
The integrated service provider will deliver value-added reporting, administrative, warranty and technical support coupled to a door to door logistics services within their agreed margin.
Badged sourcing is the identification of the proprietary source behind any badge or label applied to spare parts by the OEM of production machinery. Logging such data to a central database with cross reference information creates huge savings opportunities which, once identified are quickly distributed around the client's global operations.
Cost savings reports are a key performance indicator within the Entec value proposition. The report metrics are agreed with the client using the Need2 application to monitor, build and deliver the savings reports.
Tactical savings measured against previous cost, Strategic savings on projected spend, cost avoidance and inventory reduction can all be included within the parametrics.

The 4 tiers are:-The most common format, from Contractor tier onward, sees us sharing charges equitably across the process users on a cost plus basis, the small margin applied, being below the savings delivered, is transparent and variable according to the level of spend the client can guarantee and value add Entec provide.
